Entertaiment is a complex subject, with the power to influence culture and even create empires. Often entertainment has a deeper meaning than mere amusement, such as in ceremonies, religious festivals, or satire. It is able to transcend the boundaries of traditional media, and can be adapted for a multitude of uses, from a single private amusement selected from an ever-increasing selection of prerecorded products, to banquets suited for two, to performances intended for thousands.
